In my childhood, I would eagerly pull my mom’s pots and pans out of the cabinet, a seemingly mundane act that she surprisingly allowed me to do frequently. Little did I know, this simple gesture would pave the way for my exploration of rhythm and ignite a deep-seated passion for anything that dictated tempo. My mother, an educator with a penchant for thinking outside the box, recognized the importance of nurturing my creative spirit.
