For years, I struggled to receive the necessary support from my superiors in the field of substance use. It wasn’t until I arrived in Tyler that I finally found the support and encouragement I needed to succeed.

First-party mentors are individuals who have personally impacted my life and helped me overcome various trials and tribulations. These mentors have played a significant role in keeping my cognition sharp and well-directed toward my future goals. Although some of my first-party mentors have passed on, their impact on my life remains invaluable.
