Hey everyone! I have some super cool news to share with you all. But before I dive into it, let me give you a bit of background information. Since July 1, 2021, I have been residing in Tyler, Texas, and during this time, I have been actively involved in connecting with the community and building relationships.
Now, let’s get to the exciting part. There have been rumors circulating, especially within my profession of providing percussion and hand drum education, about a Drumline at Caldwell Arts Academy. Although I had never personally witnessed it or had any firsthand knowledge, I had heard murmurs from various sources.
Well, guess what? One day, those rumors turned out to be true! I was approached by Miss Tasha Prescott, the Executive Director of Young Audiences in North East Texas, who asked if I would be interested in becoming the new Drumline instructor at Caldwell Arts Academy. You can imagine my excitement and joy! Being a part of a Drumline was a significant part of my own journey during high school, so this opportunity holds a special place in my heart.
I am thrilled to announce that I have accepted the position as the new Drumline instructor at Caldwell Arts Academy. I am genuinely looking forward to being a part of these students’ lives and serving as a steward in this capacity. It’s an incredible privilege, and I am grateful for the opportunity.
