As a newly 34-year-old man in the year 2021 where self-care is the new chant. As a substance abuse counseling professional that does not make sufficient funds do anything more than what is considered a necessity. As a person than was raised doing push-ups and sit-ups as father-son bonding time every night as a kid. This simply means I am an advocate for the short daily workout. As a person that owns his own emerging public speaking business for the remaining hours of the day that I am not working as a licensed chemical dependency counselor. This means that I don’t have much time left in my day. One thing you will discover as you get older is the magical day that you start to wake up stiff as aboard. 

I have found the perfect solution. Doing a 20-minute stretch before bedtime and a 20-minute stretch when I wake up in the morning is the perfect way to keep my body lubricated. Lol. But seriously. I have seen many benefits in creating the habit of stretching. Benefits like improved posture, increase blood flow, lower blood pressure, and decrease injuries. Not to mention that because it increases blood flow that stretching also engages my cognitive thing which means I simply think better.
