Building dialogue with oneself, trusted support systems, and within social dynamics where peer pressure exists was highlighted. Teachers’ inclusion in the conversation was emphasized for collaborative growth. The presenter advocates for continuing these conversations, addressing mental health, encouraging self-confidence, and fostering autonomy to positively impact youth development.
This past weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to be a part of the annual Heritage Festival in Lufkin, Texas. As someone who has been actively involved in Lufkin’s events for the past six years, this festival holds a special place in my heart.
